Waist
Measure your waist by wrapping a tape measure snugly around your natural waistline - just above the hips and below the rib cage.
All of our clothing items have size guides on the product page - just look for the small button at the top of the page. Our guides are available in both inches and centimeters to suit your preference. While most men's sizes are straightforward, if you'd like extra reassurance, this guide is here to help you choose the best fit for your Peter Christian garments.
Our trousers are sized by waist and inside leg; please see below for guidance on how to measure. Some collections also feature our expanding waistband, offering up to 2” of comfortable give. Additional measurements, such as the rise are provided - please note, most of our trousers offer a generous rise, while our jeans sit slightly shorter. We recommend checking these measurements against a pair of trousers you know fit well.

Measure your inside leg from the top of the inner thigh down to the ankle bone, keeping the tape straight along the inside seam.

Measure the hem width by laying the trousers flat and measuring straight across the bottom of the leg from one side to the other.
Our Jackets, Blazers, Coats, Waistcoats and Knitwear are measured in chest size. Please note that our chest measurements are 'to fit', meaning they correspond to your body measurement rather than the garment's actual chest width. Some garments also use a different starting point for sleeve length, so please refer to the specific product's size guide where indicated.

To find your chest size, measure around the fullest part of your chest with the tape held relaxed, about an inch below the underarm.

Measure the back length from the base of the collar down to the hem, following the centre back of the garment.

Measure the sleeve length from the top of the shoulder seam down to the wrist bone, following the natural curve of the arm.
Our shirts are sized by collar measurement, which corresponds to the neck circumference each garment is designed to fit. For information on split sizing, please consult the size guide on the product page, or refer to the individual product description for detailed measurements.

Measure your collar size by wrapping the tape around the base of your neck, just below the Adam’s apple, keeping it snug but not tight.
All of our hat sizes, where not one-size, are based on head circumference. If your measurement falls between sizes, we recommend choosing the bigger size.

Holding the tape firmly but not too tight, measure the circumference of your head in centimeters, taking the measurement from where the hat would naturally sit.
All of our gloves are measured in hand circumference. You should always measure your dominant hand, as it can be larger.

Wrap the tape around the widest part of your palm, just below the knuckles, keeping the tape snug but not tight and excluding the thumb.
